Day 3 - Cooper Island to the Baths, and then to the Bitter End, Virgin Gorda
Highlight - the Baths, The Bitter End Yacht Club
anThe main attraction today is the unique collection of massive granite boulders called the Baths, on the south western tip of Virgin Gorda. You can walk and snorkel though the Baths, seeing the dazzling light reflections and wading pools created by the boulders. We recommend getting there early in the morning or after 3pm, so that you can explore them peacefully and at your leisure. Start on the south end and look for a mooring. If none are available, anchor in the bay north of the moorings and dinghy back.
Continue tacking up the island to on to North Sound, and moor at the Bitter End Yacht Club or Saba Rock. Dingy over to Vixen Point on Prickly Pear Island, a great beach with a beach bar.
Dinner at Saba Rock is recommended. Reservations encouraged.
